Refund Policy

Last updated: 2026-10-16

JnJ Ventures, LLC, a California limited-liability company, doing business as Altitude.

Fourteen days from your first charge, and from each yearly renewal, no questions asked. If Altitude is not for you, we would rather give the money back than keep it.

The first 14 days

Ask within 14 days of your first charge and we will refund it in full. You don’t have to explain why.

On the yearly plan, each renewal gets the same 14 days: ask within 14 days of a yearly renewal charge and we refund that charge in full. Monthly renewals don’t restart the 14 days.

Email support@learnaltitude.com from the address on your account, or simply reply to the Stripe receipt.

A refund cancels the subscription. Your access ends when the refund is issued.

The money goes back the way it came, through Stripe, to the card you paid with. How long your bank takes to show it is up to your bank.

After 14 days

Cancel any time in Settings, under Manage subscription, or by emailing us. You keep access until the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and we do not bill you again.

We don’t give partial refunds for the unused part of a month or year once the 14 days have passed.

If we close your account for a reason other than a breach of the Terms of Service, or we discontinue Altitude, we refund the unused part of the period you paid for.

Renewals

Altitude renews automatically until you cancel: each month on the monthly plan and each year on the yearly plan. Before a yearly renewal, we email you a reminder. The 14-day window covers your first charge and each yearly renewal, not monthly renewals.

What a refund does to the founding price

If you subscribed at the founding price, that price stays yours only while your subscription stays continuously active. A refund cancels the subscription, so it ends the founding price too — if you come back later, you pay whatever the price is then. Worth knowing before you ask.

Invite codes

Invite access is free. There is no charge, so there is nothing to refund.

Your coding-agent subscription

Altitude needs your own Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot subscription, and you pay that to Anthropic, OpenAI, Cursor, or GitHub, not to us. We cannot refund it. If you are leaving Altitude and you do not want that subscription either, cancel it separately with them.

Please email before you charge back

A chargeback costs us a fee and takes weeks to resolve. An email takes a day, and inside the 14 days the answer is yes anyway.
